Quotation:"Term time has begun again, I'm working hard at my French and manage to pump in five irregular verbs per day."
Respones: I can relate to this very same quote. This is because I my sister, brother, and I all work on our studies. My sister and I mainly work on our summer reading. As for my little brother he works in a next level workbook for the next school year. But that not all we do, we go to the beach and amusment parks.

Literary Devices

Quotation: If we want to go downstairs, we have to first bend down and then jump,cause the step has gone."

Response: In this quotation Anne Frank is describing the new way to get downstairs. This literary device is an example of imagery. Imagery is the way of describing using the five sences or giving the reader a mental image. In this case it is imagery because Anna desribes the way to get down stairs.

Questioning

Quotation: "The right hand door leads to our "Secert Annexe." No one would ever guess that there is so many rooms hidden behind that plain gray door."

Response: Where is their hiding place located at? What does Anne call their hiding place in her diary?

Questioning

Quotation: "I don't want to set down a series of bald facts in a diary like most people do, but I want this diary itself to be my freind, and I shall call my freind Kitty."

Response: What name does Anne give to her diary? Why did Anne give her diary a name of it's own?
